ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced into indoor air cause small, positively charged suspended particles to clump and fall out of the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air, which are harmful when inhaled. Microbial toxins released by some microbes form a serious health risk when they reach the lungs and bloodstream. Heavy, non-airborne microbial toxins cause harm via spores only.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation depends on producing high concentrations.

When a device produces negative ions together with ozone, effectiveness is 5–10 times higher than ozone alone; high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials like upholstery and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk. Harmful fine particles travel to the deep lungs (alveoli) and into the bloodstream, causing serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

Ozonation and negative ionisation clean indoor air of harmful fine particles as well as bacteria, moulds, viruses and various gases.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation work particularly well in a slightly pressurised building.

    Ozone and negative ionisation together form compounds that effectively remove microbial spores and many odours, e.g. sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxins, and stubborn cooking and tobacco smells.

    Ozone and negative ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOC/VOC compounds.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation create pleasant, easy-to-breathe indoor air — a clean environment where people feel good.

    Together they produce very clean indoor air suitable for workplaces.

Ozone treatment cannot be performed with people present because ozone is produced at high concentrations to kill microbes. With strong ozone and negative ion treatment you can reach porous materials. After treatment the area is ventilated and occupants may return.
