The item is sold as electrical equipment scrap based on the accompanying photographs. Other materials possibly visible in the pictures are not included in the lot. The equipment must be inspected by an expert before any possible use.

The spectrophotometer has been used to measure reflectance values and colours of camouflage patterns and other textiles and accessories.

The device was purchased in 2008.

The device was operational before decommissioning but has been unstable in use and is assumed to be at the end of its service life. Calibration and annual maintenance have not been carried out and should be completed before any reuse.

The equipment has been in continuous but varying use, depending heavily on the textiles being tested.

The device does not contain hazardous substances but is sensitive electronics.

The auction includes: the instrument, sample head, user manual, cables and supplied tools. Does not include a computer.

Included is the sample accessory, Diffuse Reflectance Accessory DRA-2500.

The purchased item must be removed in its entirety.

The lot must be collected by the buyer from its current location by 13 February 2026 at 15:00; the collector must be a Finnish citizen and collection must be arranged with the contact person at least 5 working days in advance.

If the buyer uses vessels, machines, equipment or other materials purchased from the online auction, this is at the buyer's risk. The buyer's liability for damage begins on transfer of the material. The Defence Forces or Millog Oy are not responsible for any occupational safety deficiencies or faults in vessels, machines or equipment; fitness or acceptability for traffic; or compliance with occupational safety legislation (for example Machine Decree 400/2008 and Use of Work Equipment Decree 403/2008), and no claims for actions or costs to bring the sold material into compliance with traffic, occupational safety or other applicable legislation can be made against the Defence Forces or Millog Oy.

The seller or the seller's representative is not obliged to provide any additional documentation or technical advice to the buyer after the sale.

The auctioned material is owned by the Defence Forces and therefore the seller is the Defence Forces. The sale is carried out by Millog Oy as the seller's representative. The sale price does not include deductible VAT, and VAT will not be added to the sale price. If the lot is not collected by the stated deadline, the material will revert to the ownership of the Defence Forces and the purchase price will be retained in full by the Defence Forces to cover costs.
