ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced into indoor air cause light, positively charged particles to be removed by attaching to them, forming larger, heavier particles that fall out of the breathing zone rapidly.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air, which are very harmful when inhaled indoors. Toxic compounds produced by many microbes, which mix into indoor air as aerosols = microbial toxins, form a major health hazard when they reach the lungs and then the bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not mix into indoor air cause harm mainly via spores, which are the producers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation relies on high concentrations.

When a unit produces negative ions in addition to ozone, the effectiveness compared with ozone alone is 5–10 times better and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials, for example upholstered furniture and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles travel with inhaled air into the deep lungs (alveoli) and into the bloodstream, causing serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation work particularly effectively in a positively pressured building.

    Ozone and negative ionisation together generate compounds that can remove microbial spores and a variety of odours effectively, for example sewer gases, smoke odours, bacterial and mould toxin odours, and persistent cooking and smoking odours.

    Ozone and negative ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOC and VOC compounds.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation produce a pleasant indoor air that is easy to breathe and comfortable for people to be in.

    Ozone and negative ionisation together produce very clean indoor air also for workspaces.

Ozonation of occupied spaces cannot be performed while people are present because ozone is produced massively to destroy microbial spores.
