Ultrasonic cleaners are eco-friendly cleaning systems. 

The cleaning effect of an ultrasonic cleaner is produced by transmitting waves (invisible to the human eye) through the cleaning liquid. This creates thousands of tiny cavitation centres (microbubbles) that then implode under the action of the same sound waves. The penetration of the microbubbles causes local, rapid pressure changes that remove dirt particles (oils, other contaminants) from the surface of the item. With this method you can effectively clean all surfaces submerged in the tank without scrubbing or wiping. 

When a suitable fluid is used it is ideal for disinfecting all kinds of items.
