For sale: a somewhat rarer, high-power Alfa Romeo 159 JTDm. This example is estate-bodied, 200-horsepower (147 kW) and automatic. Features include automatic air conditioning, an engine block heater useful in winter, a towbar for towing, and cruise control. The car is excellent to drive. I sold the car first to an acquaintance in 2020 and again to another friend in 2022, so the ownership history is broadly known. It has circulated between a couple of Alfa enthusiasts. Technical condition:

• The car appears to be in proper working order. No warning lights, power intact, drives well.

• The engine is a 2.4-litre diesel. Timing system replaced in summer 2025 at approximately 247,000 km. Oils OK, coolant OK. No mixing of fluids. Running noise normal, starts well. No fault lights. Charging OK.

• The gearbox is automatic. Shifts correctly. No remarks.

• Brakes OK, including the parking brake. The car stops well. The handbrake was repaired for the inspection in summer.

• Suspension OK, the car is good to drive. The power steering pump makes noise; it was replaced in 2024.

Body, interior, windscreen

• Bodywork is OK. Typical age-related wear and similar marks are present.

• Interior OK, no major issues. The driver’s seat heating control switch is not in place.

• Windscreen OK.
