Rare Honda Monkey, registered in 1972.

Stored indoors for many years awaiting inspection and assembly. Due to lack of time and space it's being sold at auction — a nice winter project for someone, with a chance to ride it in spring.

The moped is dismantled and the tank and frame were spray‑painted with car paint years ago. The engine has not been gone through; it turns over and the gears seem to work. The electrics need attention and some parts still need replacing.

It has been temporarily reassembled to show its appearance, so there is still fastening and adjustment to do (for example the seat mounting).


This could be turned into a rare, tidy Monkey with a little work. A box of used Monkey parts is included. The moped can be transported on the Vaasa–Helsinki route by trailer if needed on 20–21 December.
