Description of the item:

We are auctioning one of our sales bikes, a Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade. The bike runs mechanically without issues, but a more extensive front-fork overhaul is advisable.

The bike is a 2004 model, fitted with facelift 2006–2007 fairings.

The engine runs cleanly, responds well to the throttle and the electrics work without fault.

• Rear tyre good

• Front tyre OK

• Chain and sprockets OK

• Electrics work, but the indicator wiring needs tidying (see video)

• Overall appearance tidy; small marks on the left engine cover and frame, and the right front fairing is loose around the mask (see video)

• Previously owner-serviced, no service book

• Most recent service reportedly in spring 2025

• Imported from Germany, brought to Finland in 2006

The bike has been on our sales line, but during the fork overhaul the workshop found that the front steering head tube is pushed in. The steering head tube was apparently at some point tightened against a vice during fork work (see photos). It can be ridden as is, but the fork is prone to leaking unless the steering head tube is straightened or replaced entirely.
