Bids

Bidding period

9 December 2025 – 20 January 2026


The bidding period starts on 9 December 2025 and ends on 20 January 2026 at 13:00 or three minutes after the last accepted bid. Bids (raises) must be placed in the Huutokaupat.com service by the specified deadline. It is also possible to participate in the auction by submitting a written binding offer to the seller's representative by 15 January 2026 at 10:00. Submission of a written offer must be arranged in advance with the seller's representative. All offers will be registered as public on the item's listing. A written purchase offer is binding and is subject to the same terms as the online auction. Buyers undertake to record all bids in the system.

A written purchase offer must be signed and must state the bidder's contact details, the maximum amount of the offer and the Huutokaupat.com item number to which the offer relates.


The Urban Environment Division is not responsible for the service provider's system functionality. The highest bid is the one the service provider's system has accepted as the highest.


Offers submitted in the online auction are binding. If an offer is accepted, the bidder is obliged to pay the offered purchase price within the agreed payment time.


Conditions for acceptance of an offer:

Acceptance of an offer and conclusion of the land lease agreement require that the buyer has no adverse marks on their credit record and that neither the buyer, the buyer's owner entity nor any person exercising control over the buyer is subject to sanctions imposed by the European Union or the United Nations. By making an offer, the buyer warrants that these conditions are met.


Inspection of the building parts:

The building parts are sold in the condition stated in the notice and as they are at the time of sale. The building parts package is limited and includes only external envelope elements, wall elements, windows, doors and partial roof structures. Participants in the auction are obliged to inspect the building parts and the documents themselves before making a binding offer. The buyer may not later rely on any matter that could have been observed during a prior inspection or from the documents. By placing a bid, the participant accepts the item for sale as is.


Withdrawal from a bid:

If a bidder withdraws from an accepted bid, they must compensate the seller for costs incurred from arranging the failed auction equal to 4% of the accepted bid price. If the highest bidder withdraws and the City of Helsinki offers the property to the second-highest bidder, and that bidder withdraws after the sales decision, a cancellation fee of 4% of the accepted bid price will be charged.


Conclusion of sale:

The purchase price must be paid in full and the deed of sale and land lease agreement must be signed within two months of the auction's end, unless otherwise agreed with the seller.
