The Timco thawing mat is made of durable PVC fabric. The mat is equipped with overheat protection and a thermostat, making it safe and easy to use. Heating temperature 65 °C. Thawing performance depends on ground composition; indicative thaw rate 30–60 cm per day.

Supplied with a standard mains plug and a 3 m cable, so connection to the mains is quick and easy. The mat also has eyelets for securing it in demanding locations with ropes, or weights can be placed over the edges. Do not use the mat rolled up or cover it.
