Premium quality for a few extra hundred euros

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka we manufacture high-quality barrel hot tubs, and the Premium series has been taken a step further thanks to its large size. For a few extra hundred euros you get a larger tub, which means first-class, premium-level comfort. In smaller tubs legs can easily end up cramped in the centre, but an extra 30–40 cm of diameter works wonders! The water volume does not increase significantly and the Premium Hot Tub reaches bathing temperature almost as quickly as smaller tubs. A cornucopia of choices

We apologise in advance for making the tub purchase a bit difficult. The problem is a positive one: you have choices to make so the Premium Hot Tub is fitted to your taste. You can choose the colour of the plastic bowl from five options. It doesn’t end there: you can also choose the outer cladding material from three options and pick the cover colour between black or grey. The bowl colour range is inspired by nature, including sea blue and lichen grey. All colour themes are compatible and work well together.

Insulation for northern conditions

To achieve top-level insulation we wrapped the Premium Hot Tub in proper thermal layers. Under the plastic shell there is 44 cm of EPS insulation that keeps frost at bay and the bathing water warm even in colder winter weather. We added plenty of thermoplastic to the sides so the rim is insulated too. This extra-efficient tub retains heat so well that a well-covered Premium Hot Tub is still warm the next day. For winter bathing we recommend one load of wood be burned before the next day’s bath. Active oxygen tablets added after an evening bath will refresh the water for the next use. Then just enjoy again — or, if it’s children, splashing around.

Gentle heat, efficiently

Our efficient marine-aluminium Arctic stove heats the water to bathing temperature in a couple of hours. The 35 kW stove’s marine aluminium is durable and conducts heat well. The stove has a pretty glass door so the wood-fired tub creates a pleasant glow without having to open the door to check the fire.

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s marine-aluminium stoves are made in Finland. The powerful stove handles both fresh and brackish water. Carefully considered material choices make it a top-quality product. The stove package includes two metres of chimney pipe and a rain cap, but if you want extra pipe, a chimney guard or a spark arrestor, see the accessory list.

Note that chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium, as chlorine oxidises the alloy. We recommend changing the water regularly and using active oxygen tablets (see accessory list). Active oxygen treats the water for about 24 hours, after which the water can also be used for irrigation, as it contains no added chemicals and is safer for children. Untreated water may form a slimy film on the rim, but active oxygen prevents this.

Carefree plastic shell

The uniquely shaped and ergonomically designed Premium Hot Tub bowl is rotationally moulded polyethylene (Jaxal). This plastic has memory — it wants to keep the shape it was moulded into. Easy to maintain and long-lasting, this plastic shell comes with a ten-year warranty.

Because the shell has no moulded seams, dirt cannot collect in hidden places. Remember to keep the surfaces clean when changing the water — this is easy with ordinary cleaning agents. Fastidious users may occasionally disinfect the shell — but remember to handle wastewater correctly.
