Opel Astra, 2006, Hamina

Available due to lack of time — a visually striking Astra.

The car has been parked outside for almost the whole summer and has developed mould spots on the seatbelts and headliner.

Imported to Finland from the Netherlands in early March 2023 and therefore more comprehensively equipped than comparable Finnish cars.

The car includes, among other things:

- brown full leather seats

- active xenon headlights

- 2.0T Z20LER engine (200 hp / 147 kW)

The timing service was done in 2023 and about 7,000 km have been driven since (next due in roughly 5 years).

Additionally, in 2024 the following were replaced: high-quality Newlock valve stem seals, auxiliary drive belt, spark plugs, valve cover gasket, top shock mounts and the battery.

Fitted:

- JOM coilovers (firm ride) — these are approved as modifications.

- unbadged grille (original grille included)

- Kenwood Android head unit (available at extra cost)

- Barzeta 18x8.5" alloy wheels (available at extra cost)

And now the negatives:

The roof stopped working in autumn 2024. Parts to repair it have been purchased and will be included. I drove it with the roof closed over summer — it also looks good as a coupe.

A used roof ECU, the roof wiring harness and the easypack sensor are included.

There are also a pair of rear reflectors for mounting above the lights.

While standing, the interior has acquired mould spots (headliner and seatbelts). Cleaning will restore the interior, but at the moment it smells slightly.

The car is handed over with transfer wheels fitted with studded tyres (one is slowly leaking) and the standard [original] items.

The pictured 18" wheels are available for an additional €400 and the head unit for an additional €250.

MOT expired on 5 November and the car has been stationary (not used in winter during my ownership). The airpack/airbag warning light is on; fault memory indicates under-voltage. The battery failed in summer and was replaced with a new one, but the car has only been started once to warm the engine — likely due to few starts and low mileage.

The buyer is responsible for the paperwork and transfer plates required to move the car. The car is roadworthy but not currently inspected.
