Defects and other observations

Defects:

  • Weak battery

  • Engine fault light comes on due to the lambda sensor, which is likely leaking and causing the engine to stall

  • Fuel tank level sensor sometimes displays correctly. Condition checked; slight petrol smell in the car. Sensor costs around €20

  • Gearbox makes a noise/grinds occasionally in 1st and 2nd gear above 3,000 rpm. Gearbox oil has been changed and no bearing metal debris was found. The noise stops when turning; inner CV joint may have play?

The engine block heater is not installed but is included
