At some point, all kinds of products were marketed under the 2-in-1 theme. We at Hyvän Kaupan Paikka were inspired by the idea too, and started humming a song about there being more duo than solo. Duo Storage Outhouse is an excellent example of a combination of two great products. We decided to bring together two everyday conveniences: a storage shed and a toilet. The convenience of the outhouse side is probably obvious and need not be explained further here. Once you have read your comics in the privy, you can start looking for garden tools or a chainsaw in the generously sized storage space behind the wall. Naturally, you can leave the toilet option unused and put something more valuable behind the lockable door. This gives you a lockable small storage room and a larger storage room. You can also fit a lock to the larger storage room if desired. Duo Storage Outhouse adapts to many uses!

The generously sized layout offers several possibilities for different storage needs. Store patio sofas and gas barbecues over winter, shelter bicycles from the weather, or drive the housing association’s ride-on lawnmower under the roof on a rainy day. Finland has all kinds of weather, so belongings sometimes need to be kept in a sheltered storage space. The outhouse is suitable for the city too when fitted with a composting dry toilet. This combination could also be a hit in a terraced-house garden, since we all crave some uninterrupted time, which everyday family life does not always provide—not even in our own bathroom. In the outhouse, you can have that peace.

The overall length is just over four metres and the depth is over two metres. The interior height at the front is almost two and a half metres, and the rear wall is also high enough that your hat will not fly off when standing up from the toilet. The height allows for many kinds of storage. The outhouse section is 1,350 mm wide, leaving 2,800 mm for the storage section. You can choose a suitable toilet system from our additional range for the outhouse, or use another solution of your choice.

Duo Storage Outhouse suits many gardens: although its appearance is modern and stylish, this storage shed, built from sturdy spruce timber, is timeless and suitably neutral. Duo Storage Outhouse is suitable as additional storage for terraced houses, much-needed extra space for a detached house, or even as a wood store at a ski lodge, where the outhouse will certainly be actively used. You could also use Duo Storage Outhouse as cottage accommodation or turn the storage section into a workspace in the garden. It is more pleasant to do DIY work protected from the wind. The walls are 45 mm thick, so storage hooks and shelf brackets remain firmly secured in the wall.
