Defects and other observations

  • Consumes coolant; even the repair shop could not determine the cause. The biggest fault!

  • Instrument cluster does not work, a common Volvo fault. Mileage estimated at 405,000 km. It showed 401,987 km on 12 July.

  • Gear selector sticks in severe frost; a second-hand replacement gear selector is included

  • There is no speaker by the mirror on the passenger side.

  • The passenger-side mirror does not fold electrically

  • Small dent underneath on the passenger side, probably caused by lifting from the wrong point

  • Winter tyres included; one winter tyre has sidewall damage
