Bid terms 

The landlord reserves the right to accept or reject the highest bid. 

The winner of the competition must provide the landlord with a description of the activities to be carried out on the premises and obtain the landlord’s approval for it. 

Huutokaupat.com is not a party to the tenancy. 

Bidders agree that Huutokaupat.com may disclose their contact details to the advertiser to enable the rental decision and notification thereof. 

Bids 
The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division, reserves the right to request further information and clarifications from anyone who has submitted a bid, as well as the right to reject all bids. All bidders will be notified of the tenant selected. 

Bidding period   

The bidding period begins on 30.10.2026 and ends on 15.11.2026 at 13:00 or three minutes after the last accepted bid. Bids must be submitted through the Huutokaupat.com service by the stated deadline. The property may only be let to a bidder whose bid has been recorded in the system. 

The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division, reserves the right to accept or reject the highest bid. The City of Helsinki, Urban Environment Division is not responsible for the functionality of the service provider’s system. The highest bid is the bid accepted as the highest by the service provider’s system. 

Bids submitted in the online auction are binding. 

Conditions for accepting a bid 

Acceptance of a bid and conclusion of the tenancy agreement require that the tenant has no credit default entries and that neither the tenant, an entity owning the tenant nor an entity exercising control over the tenant is subject to European Union or United Nations sanctions. By submitting a bid, the tenant confirms that these conditions are met. 

Inspection of the property 

The property is let in the condition and with the equipment stated in the listing and existing at the time the agreement is signed. Before submitting a bid, the bidder is required to inspect the property and documents independently before making a binding bid. The tenant may not subsequently invoke a circumstance that could have been detected during a prior inspection. By submitting a bid, the bidder accepts the property’s condition as is. 

Conclusion of the tenancy agreement 

The security deposit must be paid in full and the tenancy agreement must be signed no later than one month after the decision notice addressed to the tenant has been sent, unless otherwise agreed with the landlord. All bidders will be notified of the tenant selected.
