Sold for repair. See: Defects and other observations.

This unfinished recovery-truck project is being sold on commission. It was started last year for hobby use but left unfinished due to lack of time. All rust found on the cab has been welded; some areas still require grinding and filling. Last summer it was also driven for approximately 200 km without problems, and the engine oil, filters, air filter and cabin air filter were replaced.

Work still required includes welding the edges of the platform (already started), repairing some lights, replacing wires and changing hydraulic hoses, as the old ones look poor. There is also a hydraulic oil leak in the grille. The batteries were replaced last summer, but while the vehicle was stored over winter, the main power switch failed and the batteries went flat. It started with a jump start and has been moved around the yard. The suspension height adjustment was also left in the upper position, causing one rear air bag to come out of place; it is included and the vehicle can still be driven/moved this way. There is certainly plenty of tinkering to do with this old workhorse. The gears engage and the hydraulics work when oil is added. The two hydraulic winches and other equipment have been tested and found operational, and the outriggers, platform, grille and brakes appear to work based on the driving done so far. Sold in its current condition. The buyer must allow for undiscovered faults, and should inspect the item before purchase.

Defects and other observations

Sold as a project/for dismantling; see the listing text for further details.
