Engine, transmission and servicing

The engine runs normally both cold and warm, with no abnormal noises observed. The automatic transmission shifts well and kickdown operates. The transmission fluid and filter have been changed, with an entry in the service book. Other servicing has also been recorded.

Known defects and shortcomings

• Sunroof: does not work, although the motor runs.

• Electric windows: the driver's window works; the others do not. The mechanisms are suspected to have dried out due to infrequent use; this has not been confirmed.

• Front bumper: a small piece is missing from the driver's-side corner.

• Rear bumper: damaged, with a piece missing.

• Oil level sensor: faulty.

• Windscreen: repair advisory issued at the MOT.

• Headlamps: repair advisory issued at the MOT due to clouding.

• Rust: age-related body rust, particularly on the wheel arches, bonnet and boot lid.

• Air conditioning: the system is empty and the air conditioning does not work.
