Audi A4 allroad quattro, 2010, Kirkkonummi

This Audi has been owned by the same family since 60,000 km, so its history and use are well known. Serviced on time and parts replaced when necessary. 

MOT valid until 27 July 2027. At the last MOT, a repair notice was issued for the left driveshaft gaiter.

Still drives very well and smoothly. Quiet to drive, with no unusual noises from the suspension, engine or interior while driving. Used daily until this autumn. It has now been standing unused for a few weeks. The body has extensive rust damage all over. There is a rust hole in the right front wing that requires welding before the next MOT. There are also other signs of use on the body and interior. The seat fabrics are intact, except for the driver's seat, where the side bolster is nearly worn through. Visible in the pictures. The car has a Webasto heater, which was working the last time it was used, i.e. last winter. 

The car's 6th gear does not work. It can be engaged, but after driving for a short while it jumps into neutral by itself. The fault appeared several hundred thousand kilometres ago and the car has been driven as it is without problems. Most of the car's kilometres have been driven with this fault. It has not otherwise affected the gearbox. The other gears and gear changes generally work normally. 

The timing belt was replaced in 2020. The clutch is original. A slight judder has occasionally been felt when moving off for the past couple of years. The trip computer indicates that the next service is due in 12,500 km. Moisture was noticed on the upper part of the engine when the pictures were taken. A visual inspection with the engine running found no clear leak. The car has not been observed to leave oil/diesel puddles underneath, and fluids have not needed topping up more than usual. Oil changes have always been carried out during servicing, and engine oil has always needed topping up once between oil changes. The moisture in the engine bay is visible in the pictures. 

Negatives: 

• Extensive rust spots on the body 

• 6th gear does not work. 

• The right rear door does not unlock using the central locking; it must be opened from the inside using the handle. 

• Driveshaft gaiter 

• Rear window wiper stopped in the raised position. Does not respond or move from the stalk. 

The summer tyres have plenty of tread remaining. 

Winter tyres on alloy wheels, with friction tyres used for two winters.
