Now up for auction: a truly superb-condition and carefully maintained Nimbus 26 Nova from 1995!

This Swedish Nimbus classic combines timeless design, high-quality finish and excellent handling.

The boat is powered by a large Volvo Penta 8.2 GL V8 petrol engine, allowing it to move smoothly and effortlessly. There is ample power, and the boat cruises beautifully at higher speeds too.

This example has been exceptionally well preserved for its age.

Lightly used – thoroughly refurbished in summer

The boat has been stored in a covered facility and unused for approximately the last five years. The engine has, however, been run occasionally during storage.

In July 2026, the boat was put back into use after a long break. It was launched in mid-July, and a comprehensive refurbishment and service were carried out at that time.

Refurbishment and servicing carried out in summer:

• Boat thoroughly cleaned throughout

• Hull and surfaces polished and waxed

• Teak surfaces sanded and tidied

• Bottom painted

• Engine serviced

• Carburettor serviced and fitted with a service kit, including new seals

• Drive unit serviced

• Drive-unit bellows and necessary rubber parts replaced

Since being put back into use in summer, the boat has been driven only twice for short periods, for a total of no more than approximately 1.5 hours.

The engine starts very smoothly, runs evenly and performs faultlessly. The boat moves easily and is exceptionally pleasant to drive.

Extensively refurbished V8 engine

The boat has a 8.2-litre Volvo Penta V8 petrol engine, which suits the character of this model perfectly.

One of the boat’s previous owners had a major engine rebuild carried out approximately ten years ago. The engine was dismantled and thoroughly refurbished at that time.

Since the rebuild, the engine has been driven for an estimated 150 hours only, so usage has been very limited.

The engine has plenty of torque and power, allowing the boat to plane and move effortlessly. This Nimbus with its large V8 engine is a real pleasure to drive.
