Volkswagen Touareg, 2005, Helsinki

Volkswagen Touareg 3.0 V6 diesel, sold for repair. The car started producing heavy smoke from the exhaust, and an injector fault was diagnosed at a workshop.

The seats are included and the car has a Webasto auxiliary heater. Equipment includes:

• Fog lights, Xenon headlights, anti-lock braking system (ABS), airbags, traction control, electronic stability control, alarm, immobiliser

• Power steering, remote central locking, electric windows, electric mirrors, heated seats, electrically adjustable memory seats, leather upholstery, conventional cruise control, automatic climate control, trip computer

Work carried out:
Official factory 23FE emissions campaign carried out at an authorised dealer (engine control unit update, etc.). Intake pipes and seals were also replaced at a cost of over €2,200!
2023: Entire rear propeller shaft replaced (€877), front lower control arms replaced with bushes and bolts, including wheel alignment, and rear anti-roll-bar links replaced (€1,800). Ride-height sensor replaced.
2021: Wheel bearing, ABS sensor and wiring loom replaced. Air spring replaced (front right), and the injector sealing washer on cylinder 5 replaced. Interior blower motor replaced.
2020 & earlier: Throttle body replaced; brake discs and pads, plus parking-brake shoes and associated parts, replaced; starter motor replaced.
The vehicle's equipment is as follows:

• Four-corner air suspension (1BK / PSL): With electrically adjustable damping. Works excellently; the car remains level and does not sag at the rear even after standing for several days!

• Leather upholstery & comfort seats (WLB / Q2J / N4M): Stylish and easy-to-clean “Cricket” leather seats.

• Electrically adjustable front seats with memory (3L4 / PB1): The driver's seat remembers your position.

• Xenon headlights (PXE / 8BC): Bright illumination for dark journeys.

• Removable and lockable tow bar (1D2): This car can legally and effortlessly tow a larger load.

• Electric glass sunroof (3FE): Brings light and atmosphere into the cabin.

• Climatronic automatic climate control (9AD / PH3) and auxiliary heater (9M5).

• Cruise control (8T1 / PM1) and rain sensor (8N3).
