AKU Aluminium-Covered Car Trailer with a 1,935 kg Payload, Nurmijärvi

Used to transport a racing car for two summers; condition is as good as new. Inspected on 8 October 2026 with no remarks. Interior lights have been installed, but a battery for them is currently missing. Also included are tyre straps for securing the car.

The AP2700(3500)-DRB is AKU’s flagship car trailer. This hot-dip galvanised car trailer, with a fully welded frame, is primarily designed for transporting passenger cars and large, heavy loads. Easy-to-use loading ramps with a shallow angle enable the transport of vehicles with low ground clearance, such as drift cars.

The trailer’s low centre of gravity increases stability and safety while driving. Waterproof hubs (Knott) ensure a longer service life for the bearings. The chassis has several attachment holes for securing the load with straps. The flat, plywood-covered floor and centre section also allow the trailer to be used for transporting other loads. The integrated support legs also serve as locks for the loading ramps during transport. The roller-equipped loading ramps can easily be pulled out, and their perforated surface provides good grip. The trailer comes as standard with a practical, lockable accessory box. Correctly positioned adjustable tyre stops make it easier to position the car on the trailer.
