Seized glass bird designed by Oiva Toikka, Kouvola

A blue glass bird, Suomen Sotka, manufactured by Nuutajärven Lasi and designed by Oiva Toikka, commemorating the 75th anniversary of Finland’s independence.

The glass bird is sold in its condition at the time of sale. The Enforcement Authority accepts no liability for any deficiencies or defects in the property.

The item is sold by ascending bids in an online auction held on the www.huutokaupat.com website from 16.10.2026 to 09.11.2026. Participation in the auction requires registration.

The deadline for bids is 09.11.2026 at 13:00 or two minutes after the last accepted bid.

The Enforcement Authority accepts no liability for the operation of the service provider’s system. The highest bid is the bid accepted at the highest amount by the service provider’s system. The enforcement officer will separately decide whether to accept or reject the highest bid. Bids submitted in the online auction are binding.

If it is not possible to submit purchase offers through the huutokaupat.com service, a prospective buyer may submit a written purchase offer to the enforcement authority. It will be included in the online auction as a maximum bid in accordance with the automatic bidding system. The written

offer must be signed and state the bidder’s contact details, the maximum bid and the item number on the www.huutokaupat.com service to which the offer relates. A written purchase offer is binding and is subject to the same conditions as an online auction bid. The offer must be submitted by 06.11.2026 at 10:00 to the Kouvola office of the Enforcement Authority, address Vuorikatu 1, 45100 Kouvola, or by email to kouvola.realisointi.uo@oikeus.fi.

Immediately after acceptance of the bid, the highest bidder must pay the full purchase price into the Enforcement Authority’s official funds account FI93 8129 9710 0163 61. When paying into the official funds account, reference number RF68 3960 0000 6922 61 must be used.

The enforcement authority reserves the right to terminate the sale or extend the sale period.

The property has been seized and is sold by a private sale conducted by the enforcement officer, applying, where appropriate, the general auction terms laid down in the Enforcement Code.

The sales particulars are indicative and do not provide a comprehensive description of the item. Buyers are advised to inspect the item, the sales particulars and the attached documents carefully before making a bid. The glass bird will be handed over to the buyer at the address where the viewing was held once the full purchase price has been paid. The buyer must collect the purchased movable property no later than Thursday, 12.11.2026. The handover time must, however, be agreed separately with the senior enforcement officer handling the matter. The buyer must, at their own expense and risk, remove the purchased movable property at the agreed handover time.
