The City of Kotka is selling movable property removed from its premises:

Three old Billnäs Bruks oak furnishings in the same lot: a cabinet, swivel chair and armchair. The furnishings bear Billnäs brass maker’s plaques ("Billnäs Bruks A/B, Billnäs, Finland" and "Billnäs").

Cabinet

• Oak, two parallel columns of drawers

• 26 drawers in total: 14 in the upper section and 12 shallower ones in the lower section

• Brass label-holder handles

• Two drawers have keyholes (keys unknown)

• Decorative moulding along the top

• Width 77 cm, height 180 cm, depth 60 cm

Swivel chair

• Oak, shaped seat and curved back and armrests

• Cast-iron swivel and rocking mechanism, screw height adjustment

• Four-legged oak base

Armchair

• Oak, shaped armrests

• Brown leather-upholstered seat and backrest, decorative studding

The furnishings are used, with normal signs of wear for their age and use. Some wear and scratches are visible on the front surfaces of the cabinet. Condition as shown in the pictures. Sold as-is as one lot.

Other movable property shown in the pictures is not included in the auction.

Delivery method: collection only.

NOTE! The items must be collected/removed on Thu 12 November 2026 between 11:00 and 15:00.

Any item not collected by the deadline will remain the property of the city; any payments and charges will not be refunded.

The buyer is responsible for removing the items, so please bring the necessary tools and moving equipment, as well as enough people to move the goods.
