Log sauna Hehku with changing room! No building permit required!!!, Oulu

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka is proud to present:

A sauna trip is a little adventure in your own garden: a traditional log sauna with changing room and front terrace, now NO BUILDING PERMIT REQUIRED!!!

When we began designing log saunas, our aim was to create the authentic Finnish sauna atmosphere and make sauna bathing easy. We want to offer saunas for different purposes, and the Traditional log sauna with changing room is especially intended for those who want to enjoy gentle heat in a traditional garden sauna with ease. This log sauna does not rely on unnecessary gimmicks – it has good basic benches, a convenient changing room and an excellent Harvia stove with glass door. From the log sauna, you can quickly step onto the small terrace to cool off; when your toes start to curl from the cold, continue cooling down in the slightly warmer changing room or hop back onto the hot benches. Just add more wood to the fire, listen to the hypnotic hum of the wood-burning stove and enjoy excellent löyly. Sauna bathing in the garden always has something magical about it. Every sauna trip is its own little adventure in your garden or holiday home. Start your own garden sauna story by ordering the Traditional log sauna with changing room and front terrace!

Leave your clothes or sauna robes in the changing room

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s quality saunas are spacious, with compact use of space. The Traditional log sauna with changing room and front terrace is just the right size for 4–6 people. You can move inside to the sauna wearing sauna robes or undress in the convenient changing room. Of course, you can also dash across the garden to the sauna in the attire of Adam or Eve, but then you must be careful not to make the neighbour’s granny choke on her coffee.

The heart of this log sauna is the Harvia M3 stove with glass door. The glass-door stove creates atmospheric firelight in the sauna, especially in autumn and winter. Add an integrated water tank to the stove and you will have warm washing water for bathers, so you do not need a shower for basic washing. The sauna’s highest point is almost 2.5 metres, and the entire structure is just under 5 metres long. A sturdy and safe flue package is naturally included in the delivery. Always use fire carefully and responsibly.

The optional Sauna-Seppo washing-water filter removes concerns about wastewater: water passed through the filter can be released back into nature, and the building authorities will not start issuing environmental fines.

Honestly built from logs

We manufacture the Traditional log sauna with changing room and front terrace from handsome Finnish spruce logs measuring 45 x 145 mm. Wood is always a warm and ecological choice. The sauna has two-tier spruce benches, and a window brings light into the sauna. The changing room has two windows, one of which is in the door. The windows are top-quality, aluminium-framed insulated-glass windows that retain heat.

Quality, experience and first-class design

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka has been making garden buildings for years. We have gained experience in continuously improving our products and therefore always strive to do our best. We continue to develop our products based on experience and customer feedback. That is why the manufacturing defects in the Traditional log sauna have already been corrected. Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s saunas are built under strict quality control, so the product has no common material variations and quality remains consistent. We always supply our customers with a sauna matching the catalogue and display sauna, without reserving the right to make technical changes. Customers can therefore be sure when ordering from Hyvän Kaupan Paikka that the product is the same as the one shown in the marketing image. That is why we dare to promise a satisfaction guarantee for our sauna!

Soon you will be assembling it!

We are happy to deliver the complete package to your garden, and you do not need lifting equipment when you choose delivery by HIAB lorry. The package includes eaves boards, a complete black felt shingle roofing set, felt roofing nails, a lockable exterior door with fittings and terrace floorboards. At present, a building permit is required for constructing the sauna, but we provide architectural drawings for the permit application. The customer is responsible for the foundations. The instructions and building permit drawings supplied with the sauna can be requested in advance, so that when the delivery arrives you can get straight to assembling your new garden sauna. You will need a drill, screwdriver, hammer, saw, tape measure, pencil and a good dose of patience and enthusiasm. Always study the instructions carefully before carrying out each stage of the work.

Someone is always on call

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka, someone is always on call. We provide customer support 24 hours a day, every day of the week – or, as it is known today, 24/7. Few people build their home at night, but we will answer then too if something about assembling the product causes confusion. The instructions supplied with the building packages help with assembly, and you can also find assembly videos on YouTube to make the construction work easier to understand. You will not be left alone with your garden building, as we are here to support you!
