A couple of small stone chips on the windscreen; otherwise the glass is intact. The engine has good power and the gearbox changes smoothly. Occasionally the ABS / airbag / battery lights come on in the instrument cluster, but usually clear themselves on the next start. It also occasionally enters limp mode and is sluggish. The trip computer displays warnings showing a car and bulbs. It nevertheless works OK when driven 😝 The electric tailgate opening does not always work and it must be closed by hand (the struts need replacing). Service book present, with many entries; latest entry: oil and filters at 380,000 km, 07/2025.
Requests servicing immediately. The alternator was just replaced, but the battery light remains on (the new alternator probably needs to be taught/programmed to the car). Even after this, our warehouse staff have driven the car, including towing a trailer several times. The alternator is now charging normally. A working GL with impressive wheels.
