The seller reserves the right to accept or reject the highest bid.

The final highest purchase price offered is subject to approval by the City of Pieksämäki’s Technical Director and an official decision (City Council 30 September 2024, § 41).

The property is sold on www.huutokaupat.com. The auction ends on 18 November 2026 at 12:00 or three minutes after the last bid accepted in the online auction.

The City of Pieksämäki is not responsible for the functionality of the service provider’s system. The highest bid is the bid that the service provider’s system has accepted as the highest.

The property is sold in the condition and with the equipment in which it is at the time of the listing and sale. The buyer has no right of exchange or return. No warranty is provided. The descriptions in the listing are solely the seller’s assessments of the property for sale. Participants in the auction must inspect the property themselves before making a binding bid. By submitting a bid, the bidder accepts the property as is.

Bids submitted in the online auction are binding.

The property will be transferred in accordance with the attached sales brochure and terms of sale. If the bidder whose bid has been accepted withdraws from the sale, they must compensate the City of Pieksämäki for reasonable costs amounting to 4% of the highest bid made, with a minimum of EUR 2,000.

After the online auction ends, the highest bidder will be notified whether the bid has been accepted or rejected. The highest bidder must provide an account of the intended future use of the property. The highest bidder must also state on whose behalf the bid was made. Otherwise, the highest bidder will be deemed the buyer.

If necessary, the City of Pieksämäki will request the details of all bidders in order to make the sales decision, and by placing a binding bid the bidder authorises this disclosure.
