Volvo N7 Nummela Sky-Lift NS30

Lifting height 30 metres; the ten-year inspection is still valid.

The machine is fully operational, although it shows signs of use. The clutch was overhauled in 2024, when the gearbox was also replaced with a Volvo N12 gearbox.

The vehicle has just been test-driven for 60 km, and the lifting equipment has been tested by moving the stabiliser legs back and forth and operating the boom through its full range of movement.

All equipment manuals and documents are retained.

Defects and other observations

Corrosion damage around the cabinets and superstructure, broken lights and certainly many areas that could be refurbished. In the cab, the glow-plug indicator remains on constantly, as does the overdrive indicator. It has stood unused for long periods, so various parts will likely need freeing up here and there.

It is sluggish to drive and moves slowly when fully loaded, so its driving characteristics are not quite on the level of modern lorries.
