BMW 525, 2007, Laukaa

I have owned the car for almost 9 years/100,000 km. An untouched example; the kilometres have come from commuting, and it has been kept like a hobby car. It has now been off the road for about 4 months and remains so, apart from being driven to its inspection.

• Runs faultlessly and drives as it should

• New summer tyres purchased last summer; good studded winter tyres. Both sets are on original wheels

• Front springs replaced last summer and cylinder-head work carried out—not due to a failure, but the valve stem seals and exhaust-side lifters were replaced. The head was machined to create a flat surface for a new gasket, and inspected and cleaned at the machine shop. Works excellently

• Various work done over the years, including shock absorbers and brakes. When I bought it, the gearbox oil was changed by flushing at a workshop. No warning lights. The only issues are that a door was dented in a car park and has since been spray-painted, but the paintwork was unsuccessful, with dust and orange peel. Beginning rust on the lower edge of the tailgate, not serious. I cannot think of anything else apart from cosmetic issues. The reason for sale is that I bought a diesel for commuting.

• Castrol Magnatec oil and filter changed just before it was taken off the road; driven perhaps 500 km since

• The repair notice shown in the picture concerned the gear knob, which has been replaced with an intact one, so it is now in order.

• Air conditioning recharged last summer and blows very cold. The compressor or freewheel clutch makes a little noise, but works well.

• New AGM battery fitted on 23 August 2026; the battery replacement has not yet been registered in the car's computer. Receipt for €200 available. Starter motor also replaced; receipt for €150 available. Driven 500 km without problems since 23 August.

• This is not a new car, which must be understood: there are signs of use and wear, although it is tidy for its age

• Off-road notification: Ordinary decommissioning from 9 September 2026
