Recently successfully inspected (5 October 2026), an 8L Audi S3 used for daily driving. It has served as my daily car for about three years. A Haldex controller has been installed, and according to the previous owner the engine management was enhanced with a software update. For winter, I also fitted an engine block heater and interior connection, making it pleasant to start even on very cold mornings. However, the tuning is only confirmed verbally, with no evidence of it. Otherwise, the car is mechanically completely standard. It shows signs of use and some early rust, as expected for a car of this age, but nothing that cannot still be saved. The ABS light has flashed a couple of times and reports a longitudinal acceleration sensor fault. A new sensor is included for the buyer. It is located directly behind the glove compartment, so fortunately it is easy to replace. I now need a more boring and economical runabout, so reluctantly I am passing this on to its next driver. I have changed the oil myself once a year, at approximately 6,000 km intervals. The air conditioning was serviced in winter. Timing belt at 313,000 km / 2023. The Haldex oil and filter are becoming due; these were last done at 310,000 km.
