Hello, what a gem has once again arrived in Kamux Turku’s auction line-up! This sporty 3-door Corolla Hatchback is from 2004 and has been with the same family since 2017. The car has working air conditioning, two good sets of tyres, and studded winter tyres. A block heater with an interior socket has been fitted for winter. This car has nearly all the favourites of Finnish motorists already in place; only a tow bar is missing, although this little Corolla was never intended as a tow vehicle. Leaving the glossy pictures aside, the bodywork has quite a bit to note, and the car is being sold at auction with the inspection defect list. The list is not long, however: by repairing the right-hand sill box, the new owner can get a fresh one-year inspection approval, so it is not even a major job! The left-hand side was already patched in 2025, so hopefully the body will hold up for a while. After a little welding, this should be a genuinely reliable vehicle for its new owner. The auction ends on Saturday 10 October at 19:00, so please come and view this vehicle on Nuppulantie before bidding closes! Welcome to the best auctions!

Defects and other observations

During the test drive, we observed the following:

  • Sold with the inspection defect list: rejected because the sill box is rust-damaged on the right-hand side; someone handy can easily repair this and obtain a one-year inspection approval again. See the picture of the inspection certificate. The inspection is valid for driving until 5 December 2026

  • The car has a damage history from 2008

  • We drove approximately 5 minutes in an urban area. The car felt surprisingly pleasant to drive and the engine appeared to retain its power. No knocking or rattling was heard, and the car seemed to drive straight

  • Typical Toyota clutch feel – engages fairly low

  • The boot lid does not open from the handle or with the key; not diagnosed in more detail

  • The air conditioning blows cold, the seat heaters work, and so does the radio!

  • 2 good sets of tyres: summer tyres with +5 mm tread and winter tyres with studs and 8 mm tread

We have not carried out a technical condition inspection of the car, and the operation of all equipment has not been tested. The car may have hidden faults that we did not notice during the test drive and inspection. However, we disclose all facts known to us about every car. It is possible to come and test-drive the car and inspect it more closely on site.

The car has not undergone a special condition check by us and the functionality of all equipment has not been tested. It might have hidden faults that we did not find during the test drive. It is possible to inspect the car in more detail before making a binding offer. Please arrange your visit in advance, thank you.
