A well and faithfully serving Volkswagen Polo Hatchback 1.4 16V is being auctioned to a new home!

This Finnish car is equipped with a reliable and economical 1.4-litre petrol engine (55 kW / 75 hp).

It has 220,000 km on the odometer and the next inspection is in 2 months and 15 days.

Driving:

During the test drive, the car seemed to work normally: the clutch is good, the gears shift smoothly, the car drives straight and the power is present.

Maintenance and other details:

The latest engine oil and filter change was carried out on 22 December 2025 (at 207,544 km) and the timing belt and water pump were replaced on 18 January 2016 (at 98,841 km).

The car comes with two sets of tyres: summer tyres are Michelins on steel wheels (tread 3–4 mm), while for winter there are good Hankook studded tyres on steel wheels, with good tread and all studs present.

Defects/notes:

The car has age-related wear and signs of use:

• There is rust on the front wheel arches, which has been repaired and painted, and there is also rust on the driver’s door sill.

• The front bumper has paint-clearcoat damage typical of its colour

• The passenger-side wing mirror has been damaged and its glass/housing is broken, and the rear window wiper is missing.

• The windscreen is cracked,

• The brake pad warning light is on

• The air conditioning does not blow cold air.

• There are a couple of holes in the driver’s seat and slight darkening on the seats. The interior also smells slightly of tobacco.

• There is a knocking sound from the front end when driving over a bump.

• According to the previous owner, oil sometimes needs to be topped up.
