Pontiac Grand Prix GTP, 2000, Mynämäki

For sale: a rarer and sought-after genuine Pontiac Grand Prix GTP.
The car was imported from Florida to Finland as a relocation vehicle in 2006.
It has an exceptionally interesting enthusiast history: after the gearbox failed in 2015, it was taken straight from the road and placed on a lift in a dry garage. Thanks to this long-term storage, the car has been completely spared more than 10 years of road salt and winter conditions, and the body has remained remarkably tidy.
The car has now been taken in hand after storage and carefully brought back to life with all major required refurbishments completed.
The car passed its roadworthiness inspection on 3 September 2026, so there is plenty of inspection time remaining!

The car offers a fine and exceptionally smooth American ride, while the supercharger provides plenty of power and performance when needed.

The car is standard, with its original alloy wheels and original Bose stereo. It has not been spoiled with tuning or aftermarket installations.

A very extensive and costly mechanical overhaul has just been carried out, with all critical areas addressed:
• Automatic gearbox fully rebuilt + new torque converter
• Subframe blasted, painted and fitted with new bushes
• Brake discs and pads replaced all round
• New windscreen fitted on 5 October
• New starter motor
• Engine oil and all filters replaced

• Power-steering fluid replaced
• Leather interior cleaned and treated with leather-care products
• Etc.

This is a top-of-the-range GTP model for its time, with all equipment factory-fitted:
• Electrically adjustable leather seats (driver’s seat heated)
• HUD head-up display (shows speed in km/h)
• Bose sound system

• Cruise control
• Electric glass sunroof
• Multi-function display on the dashboard
• Etc.

So as not to make this all praise, the new owner has also been left a few jobs:
• The air conditioning needs recharging (does not currently blow cold).
• The sunroof needs a little manual assistance when opening and closing.
• Remote central locking has stopped working (works normally from the door switch).
• Left rear window does not work.
• A few cracks in the dashboard.
• Small parking dent in the right rear quarter panel.

A reliable, powerful and distinctive American sports car, ready to drive without worrying about upcoming repairs. The gearbox and servicing have been completed, and the inspection is fresh – it is simply waiting to be driven!
