Is the manure problem of a large horse stable, equestrian centre or several farms a constant expense? Here is a complete, industrial-scale briquetting/pelletising line built by a skilled inventor, allowing you to turn massive quantities of manure into valuable organic fertiliser or combustible energy.

This is an exceptionally robust unit, a good 7 metres long overall. At its heart is a giant spiral screw made from special acid-resistant steel (stainless steel). Acid-resistant material is essential, as it withstands the strong chemical corrosion caused by horse manure. The nozzle diameter is 80 mm (2 pcs), so the machine produces substantial material and has very high hourly output. At its previous site, the machine pelletised at the same rate as a wheel loader could feed the hopper.

Why is this production line a unique investment?

• Completely independent of electricity: The machine is driven by its own legendary, exceptionally durable Scania 6-cylinder diesel engine (gearbox + clutch). It requires no expensive industrial electricity connections or fuse upgrades – you can operate the line right next to the manure storage or in the middle of a field using fuel oil.

• Massive torque: Thanks to the Scania six-cylinder engine and mechanical transmission, the machine provides exceptionally high torque even at low revs. It chops and compresses long straw, hay and fibrous material without the risk of blockages that can stop lighter electric machines.

• A new source of income for the farm: Pelletised or briquetted horse manure is reduced to a fraction of its original volume, becomes odourless and is highly sought-after as organic fertiliser and soil improver. Under current legislation, it is also suitable for energy use in the farm’s own heating system (the calorific value of wood-based manure is nearly that of firewood, approx. 4 kWh/kg).
