Audi A6, 2006, Raisio

Audi A6 (4F) 2.0 TDI saloon, model year 2006, 103 kW (140 hp), 6-speed manual, front-wheel drive. Imported from Germany, first registered 8/2006, mileage approximately 352,000 km. In road use, vehicle tax paid.

Inspection

The car failed its periodic inspection on 30 September 2026. Reasons for failure: the sills are rusty on both sides (welding required), the right front brake is dragging and the right rear brake is slightly dragging. In addition, repair advisories were issued for the left fog light alignment, play in the left front anti-roll bar link, the dust cover of the left front lower ball joint and cracks in the rear light units. No other issues were noted: shock absorbers 76–81%, braking forces within limits, emissions test K-value 0.00.

The defects have not been repaired. A reinspection must be completed by 30 October 2026; after that, a new periodic inspection is required. The car is prohibited from use, so collection must be by trailer or transporter. A more detailed breakdown is provided under defects; the inspection certificate is available for viewing.

Engine and servicing

A major engine service was recently carried out in 06/2026, including replacement of:

- timing belt, all timing-system rollers and tensioner, and crankshaft bolt

- water pump

- crankshaft and camshaft oil seals

- camshaft bearing housing; crankshaft sealing flange resealed

- gaskets: intake manifold, throttle body, EGR valve, thermostat, tandem pump, oil filter housing, oil cooler (both), EGR pipes (3), rocker cover

- oil level sensor

- coolant pipe flange under the tandem pump

- oil, air and fuel filters

The emissions system is original; nothing has been removed. The front suspension has been inspected; the inspection remarks concerning the left anti-roll bar link and ball-joint dust cover have not yet been repaired.

Tyres and equipment

- summer and winter tyres included; both sets in normal condition

- standard A6 equipment, air conditioning

General condition

This is a 20-year-old car with 350,000 km, so normal signs of use are present. Apart from the sills, there is no penetrating rust underneath. The rear light units have cracks; they have been repaired and do not leak.
