OAK PLANK TABLE WITH BLACK WOODEN LEGS + 2 ALPPI CHAIRS

The plank table is made of solid oak, excluding the black legs, which are made of pine. The tabletop consists of two separate parts made from 3.6 cm thick glued board. The tones are always chosen to be as close to each other as possible, but as is typical of natural wood, colour differences may occur between pieces. Each table is wonderfully unique and no two are exactly alike, as the shade and grain pattern vary according to the tree's growing conditions.

The tabletop is lacquered, so it does not require regular maintenance like an oiled surface. The lacquer is applied in three coats using a water-based matt lacquer intended for indoor use. The top has a slightly brushed finish that highlights the oak's natural character and beautifully brings out the wood grain. Knots are a natural part of solid wood. Knots may have narrow cracks, which can be filled. The surface is not completely smooth; oak has a slightly rough texture that you can feel when running your hand over the table. Due to this roughness, there may be slight differences in the gloss level of the lacquered surface.

The Alppi chair combines timeless design with excellent seating comfort. Made of oak and oak veneer, the chair is finished with maintenance-free lacquer, which preserves the beautiful surface without regular treatment. The ergonomic backrest and good seat depth make the chair comfortable to sit in.

The seat has a highly durable, easy-care fixed upholstery covered with high-quality Basel fabric (100% polyester, Martindale over 50,000).

The table and chairs have been used as showroom display models. One chair has a small dent on the backrest.

Material properties:

• Oak is a hard, dense and durable wood material.

• Small hairline cracks are also part of the natural movement of wood and do not affect the durability or service life of the top.

• Wood reacts to light, which may cause its shade to change over time.

• Clean wooden parts with a slightly damp, soft cloth.

• Wipe up spilled liquid before it dries.

• If necessary, clean with a mild detergent or soap.

• Rinse and dry areas cleaned with detergent.

• Avoid strong and abrasive cleaning agents.

• Regularly check that fittings and screws are properly tightened.

• Avoid placing corrosive substances or hot pots and similar items directly on the table surface.
