A rare, mechanically excellent and fully working C-Class (S203) C220 CDI from 2002!

Low mileage for its age!

Mechanically in very good condition!

A Pedal/Sprint Booster has been installed on the accelerator, improving throttle response by reducing lag. It does not add horsepower, but the throttle reacts clearly faster and sharper. It does not affect inspection or any control systems and does not trigger warning lights.

The standard air filter has been replaced with a large Biltema cone filter, giving the engine much better airflow. The original filter and housing are included!

Inspected on 19/03/2025 and the inspection is valid until 19/03/2026, but a new one can be obtained by taking it to an inspection station!

No fault codes, no limp mode, no fluid leaks!

Engine and gearbox in good condition!

Air conditioning works and blows ice cold!

Seat heaters and electric seat adjustments work!

All electric windows and mirrors work!

Cruise control works!

Front and rear parking sensors work!

Handbrake works (rare on this model)

Front headlight units are in almost like-new condition!

Dark dynamic LED mirror indicators have been fitted; the original clear indicators are included and can easily be refitted!

Interior is tidy and has no mould smell.

Central locking also works from the key remote!

2 keys with remote!

On 17" alloy wheels with tread still left, enough to last through the end of this autumn. No winter tyres.

Engine is clean and in good condition – no leaking injectors!

Original towbar!

LED bulbs have been fitted in place of halogens, giving much better visibility. These must be changed back to halogens for the inspection, and those are included.

The Mercedes has been serviced in Germany from new according to the service book and was brought to Finland between 2010 and 2011.

Servicing has been carried out at MB Koskinen and SEO Lehmäjoki workshop from 2011 to 2025, with 16 service records in total (EUR 6,400) and extensive documentation available. Smaller receipts have also been kept, and the service and instruction books are preserved.

Work carried out during my ownership 2025-2026.

New front brake pads fitted.
New brake caliper carrier + slide pins fitted on one side.
Instrument cluster replaced because the old one had reached the end of its life.
Turbo and the entire boost system including pipes cleaned; EGR valve cleaned at the same time, and the intake manifold cleaned too.
Radiator support iron on one side replaced.
New fuel filter fitted.
Oil and filter just changed!
New cabin air filter.
New front springs fitted.

No tax debt and the Mercedes is in storage.

Negatives / notes:

- Rust on the lower edges of the doors, front wings and tailgate; there is also a dent in the bonnet.
- Cracks in the windscreen.
- Bonnet struts are worn out.
- Instrument cluster replaced: otherwise works perfectly, but shows 605,000 km; actual mileage is 308,000 km. The reading can be corrected, for example with Star or CGDI.
- Pulls to the right when braking. The front brake caliper carrier has been replaced because the slide pins were completely seized. The brakes still need to be bled, so the pulling may be due to air in the system.
- Brake pad warning is on even though new front pads have been fitted. Not investigated further; possibly the sensor wire is disconnected/loose.

The windscreen will most likely need to be replaced for inspection. Otherwise, in terms of the mechanics and underbody, the Mercedes should be in good condition and should have a good chance of passing inspection for a year. So there is more work to be done on the exterior, but mechanically the overall package is good.
