Peugeot 308 SW 1.6 VTi 2009 – 247 tkm – comprehensive service history – to be repaired

For sale: Peugeot 308 SW with a 1.6 VTi petrol engine and manual transmission.

The car has been in use and has had many repairs and services carried out over the years. Receipts are available for the work done.

Known engine fault: once the engine is warm, fault code P1339 appears, relating to a misfire in cylinder 3.

The fault has been investigated and the following have been replaced/renewed in the car, among other things:

• Ignition coils

• Spark plugs

• Injectors

• Camshaft sensors

• VVT solenoids replaced/cleaned

In addition, the battery was replaced in 2025, and a second key was made and the shell on the old key was replaced.

The final cause of the fault has not been confirmed. A possible valve, cylinder head or other engine fault has not been ruled out.

A major engine overhaul was carried out in 2018 when the odometer reading was approx. 161 210 km.

Receipts for these jobs and the engine overhaul are available, along with a large bundle of other older repair receipts and inspection certificates.

The car was presented for periodic inspection on 14/09/2026 with an odometer reading of 247 084 km.

The inspection was failed for the following defect:

• Play in the ball joint of the right front lower control arm

In addition, a repair advisory was issued:

• Engine oily / oil leak at the front of the engine

The OBD system passed and the emissions test also passed. Emissions values were CO 0.16 %, HC 28 ppm and lambda 0.997.

The car must be presented for a re-inspection by 14/10/2026.

The car is in used condition for its age.

The car comes with the tyres shown in the pictures. The winter tyres are studded tyres and their condition can be seen in the pictures.

The car is sold for repair in the condition it is in at the time of sale.

The exact cause of engine fault code P1339 or the exact location of the engine oil leak has not been fully determined. The central locking does not unlock when turning the key in the door; the doors can only be unlocked with the key fob.

The car comes with the available service and repair receipts.
