The cleaning effect of an ultrasonic cleaner is achieved by passing waves (invisible to the human eye) through the water containing the cleaning liquid. This creates thousands of small cavitation centres (microbubbles), which then burst under the effect of the same sound waves. The penetration of the microbubbles causes local, rapid pressure changes that detach dirt particles (grease and other impurities) from the surface of the item. With this method, you can effectively clean all surfaces immersed in the washer without having to scrub or wipe away the dirt.

When used with a suitable liquid, it is perfect for disinfecting all kinds of items.
