Participation in the auction requires registration. The Enforcement Authority is not responsible for the functionality of the service provider’s system. The highest bid is the bid that the service provider’s system has accepted as the highest. The enforcement officer will decide separately whether to accept or reject the highest bid within seven working days of the end of the online auction. Acceptance of the bid and payment details will be notified to the buyer separately.

Bids are made on the purchase price, which does not include any amounts payable by the buyer under the Housing Companies Act (see further the section of the sales brochure on obligations and rights transferred to the buyer). The buyer must pay the housing company’s receivables directly to the housing company separately; the purchase price paid to enforcement does not reduce them in any way.

Bids submitted in the online auction are binding. If a bid made is accepted, the bidder is obliged to pay the purchase price offered within the agreed payment period. Failure to pay the offered purchase price may lead to the buyer’s liability for compensation under Chapter 5, Section 25 of the Enforcement Code.

The enforcement authority reserves the right to end the sale or extend the sales period.

Payment terms: The buyer must immediately pay a deposit equal to 20% of the purchase price into the Enforcement Authority’s official funds account. The deposit cannot be paid by credit card. If the highest bid is accepted, a payment period of up to six weeks may be granted for the remaining purchase price, if necessary. If no payment period is used, the purchase price must be paid without delay after acceptance of the bid. If a payment period is used, annual interest must be paid on the full purchase price in accordance with section 3(2) of the Interest Act for the entire payment period from the date of sale until the end of the payment period.

Appeal: An appeal against the enforcement sale and any act related to or preceding the sale must be lodged within three weeks from the sale date. The appeal instructions are attached to the sale decision.
