Defects and other observations

During the test drive we noted the following:


On the road the car operates normally and we drove it for a bit over 100 km. The car sometimes lights the engine warning light, which then goes off by itself. The car was taken to a workshop and the following fault diagnosis was obtained:

The engine warning light is not currently on. In the engine control unit fault memory: P0014 B (exhaust) camshaft position timing over or system performance. Measured values on the camshafts during the test drive are within 0.5 degrees of the specified values, OK. Measured exhaust and intake cam solenoids: intake 8.3 ohm, exhaust 8.5 ohm (specified value 6.0–7.9 ohm). Wiring measured from the solenoids to the engine control unit 0.2 ohm, OK -> on the exhaust cam solenoid connector one pin locking tab is broken -> at the ECM the exhaust cam pin in the connector feels loose compared with the adjacent one. Contact grease applied to the ECM. == 4.8.2026 -> connector replaced for the exhaust cam solenoid. === 18.9.2026 Car back at the workshop. The fault could not be fixed. No clear fault was found in the car. It is possible that the cam adjuster (i.e. gear wheel) is not working as intended.


Otherwise no faults have been observed and the engine runs normally at all times and power is maintained. However, repair of the fault is recommended, and therefore it is sold for repair.

The car may have hidden faults that we did not notice during the test drive and inspection. However, we disclose all known information about the cars.
