Toyota Proace L1H1 2.0 D 120 * one owner *, 2016, Espoo

Here is a direct-drive Proace for its next owner, a one-owner Finnish car!

The previous owner has had the car since new, so this is not a workhorse that has gone from hand to hand. The car has just passed inspection on 2 July 2026, so there should be a good while of driving ahead without inspection worries.

In terms of mechanics, the Proace felt to be working just as it should during the short test drive. The engine started nicely, ran smoothly and made no unusual noises. It pulled normally, the gearbox worked flawlessly and there was nothing odd about the gears. The suspension felt decent and there were no extra knocks or rattles. The brakes bit as they should and there was no vibration when braking.

There is not much to beautify regarding the bodywork, as rust can be found in several places. In addition, there are various dents, scratches and signs of use on the outside. The interior also shows that this has been a work vehicle and not a hobby car for Sunday drives. The photos give a better impression of the condition. A service book is available, but the entries have been filled in incompletely, so a complete service history cannot be claimed in this case. A few notes as well:

• The sliding side door moves normally on its rails, but sometimes needs to be lifted fully to close.

• The driver’s seat heater button has fallen inside the plastic trim, but the seat heating still works normally.

All in all, this is a Proace that has seen a bit of the world. It will not win any beauty contests, and getting it into fine shape will certainly require surface work from a skilled hand, but in terms of mechanics and driving it gave a fairly solid impression on the test drive. Equipment:
