  Wide bench space for larger sauna-goers too

Tall people can be hard to please when their heads keep knocking into something in the sauna. In Pihasauna Löyly, heads will not bang on the benches unless perhaps against other bathers after too many drinks of beer. Three-metre-wide benches allow all kinds of sauna positions and styles, including separate seats if the customer prefers them. Pihasauna Löyly is also 230 cm high at the rear, so there is plenty of space above your head. Yet the steam moves beautifully towards the bather, as the bench height has been optimised for comfortable sitting and enjoying the steam.

A big stack of stones and a glass door

If there is Löyly in Helsinki, soon there can be one in your own backyard too. The most important thing is to get into the sauna, as Finns have done for centuries. Pihasauna Löyly is heated by a Harvia Legend 150, into which you can load 120 kg of sauna stones. Just lifting that amount of stones into the stove's depths will even get your biceps growing. The generous stone load allows you to enjoy different kinds of steam. A direct hit gives quicker steam, while water poured over the stones produces long, lingering steam. The Legend's spacious glass door brings an intriguing fire element into the sauna experience. In the dark, the flames' light plays on the surface of the panoramic window, bringing magical atmosphere to the sauna.

The insulated chimney package is included, as is the stove's fireproof base. If you wish, you can buy a chimney water heater as an accessory for heating wash water. For waste water, you will need your own solution, but from us you can get a floor drain channel or the Sauna-Seppo water purification system for an additional charge.

We are so proud of this sauna that we wanted to rush it to market so these would start spreading across Finland at an accelerating pace. We will add a little modesty option to the panoramic window at some point, if not everyone wants to star in the neighbourhood's nudist theatre. A two-way view from the sauna is not suitable for every location, and in that case mirror glass or bronze-tinted glass is a great addition. We are also currently drawing up an additional delivery list that includes a pressure-treated foundation frame, which could then be ordered from us at Hyvän Kaupan Paikka made to ready dimensions.

The package includes everything essential

Pihasauna Löyly is not a small package, as the whole is substantial in both size and weight. We deliver the entire package to your home. Pihasauna Löyly is delivered as stackable logs, installed one by one. Nothing essential is missing from the delivery, and roof felt, for example, comes with it. We have added small eaves above the panoramic window and the door to direct rainwater to the right place.

Foundations are the customer's responsibility, and you can place the sauna, for example, on concrete blocks. Of course, you may pour a stone foundation and even insulate the sauna if you wish. Clear instructions come with the sauna. You can request the building permit drawings in advance so that when the delivery arrives you can simply start turning your Pihasauna Löyly into a sauna ready for use. You will need a drill, screwdriver, hammer, saw, tape measure, pencil and calm enthusiasm for the assembly work. Always read the instructions carefully before starting each stage.

Someone is always on duty

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka, someone is always on duty. We offer customer support 24 hours a day, seven days a week, or as it is now called, 24/7. Few people build their home at night, but we will answer then too if something about assembling the product leaves you wondering. The assembly instructions included with the building packages will help, and you can also find assembly videos on YouTube that make the construction work easier to understand. You are not alone with your outdoor building, as we are here to support you!
