Glamour camping, or glamping, has arrived in Finland and at Hyvän Kaupan Paikka too. We did not settle for a better tent fabric, but took glamping accommodation one step further, making it even more stylish and better. We decided to combine the traditional tent shape with ecological wood material. This is how Arctic Kämp was born, an exclusive way to accommodate cabin guests or grandchildren in your own yard. Why not camp in your own garden and gaze at the blue sky through the beautiful triangular windows.

We combined the Viking triangular structure, borrowed from hundreds of years ago, with a simple and modern Scandinavian design language. Arctic Kämp also attracts attention from the outside, as the triangular building is calmingly stylish in every centimetre. When a traditional accommodation cabin does not appeal to you, Arctic Kämp is just what you are looking for in your own distinctive accommodation cabin.

A trendy and sturdy triangular structure

The ridge of the Arctic Kämp accommodation cabin rises to three metres, and despite its sloping shape it offers plenty of headroom. The roof height creates a pleasant sense of space, crowned by a stunning window collage consisting of four triangular windows. The windows are pleasant to gaze at in the dim evening light, perhaps even looking for Davincian symbolism in them. Despite its three-metre height and spacious feel, Arctic Kämp is easy to place in a small area on a simple foundation. The triangular shape brings many advantages compared with a more traditional build.

Stylish and, when needed, discreet

Arctic Kämp is modern and minimalist. It slips unobtrusively into a cabin beach setting as accommodation or even as a small rental cabin village on a natural shoreline. The surface can be painted in the shade of your choice, and if you wish, Arctic Kämp blends into the landscape as part of nature. Built from thick boards, Arctic Kämp is easy to construct and straightforward to assemble with the help of clear instructions.

Compact interior

When you open the door to the triangular cabin, compact interiors open up before you, where you can not only sleep but also spend a summer day or shelter from the rain. The 140 cm plank bed placed in front of the hypnotically beautiful windows also serves as a seating area when fitted with comfortable cushions and blankets. The delivery also includes a two-metre bed platform as well as a table and two chairs, making the space versatile even without additional furnishing. You will need to obtain the mattress yourself, as there are so many different sleepers and mattress preferences that it would not be sensible for us to supply one. The plank bed is 205 cm long, so a standard-length mattress fits the space very comfortably.

In the sample images, Arctic Kämp is equipped with special extras, as in the best car adverts. The LED light set is not included, but the sample image gives a good idea for creating lighting, if electricity is available. Nowadays there are also many rechargeable lighting solutions that create a warm glow inside Arctic Kämp. Whether you use candles, an LED storm lantern or a red ribbon, the atmosphere inside Arctic Kämp is guaranteed. You cannot help but feel at ease in this excellent triangular cabin!

Hassle-free and time-saving delivery to your home

The Arctic Kämp we have created is no small package, as the overall structure has size and weight. That is why we deliver the whole package to your yard. Roof felt is included in the delivery. The foundations are the customer’s responsibility, but they are simple to make on a rectangular base. The floor joists rest on a block foundation, and then the whole beautiful cabin cake is placed on top. Instructions and building permit drawings are available in advance on request, so when the delivery arrives you can simply start busily getting your Arctic Kämp ready for use. You will need a drill, screwdriver, hammer, saw, tape measure, pencil and a calm enthusiasm for the assembly work. Always read the instructions carefully before carrying out any work stage.
