We have just replaced the car's starter motor, 29/08/2026.


A fully drivable project for the next owner, as I do not have the time or space to fix it myself.

Nice to drive, runs and goes well despite the faults, and has been in daily use for as long as we have had it. The engine and gearbox work well, as does the rest of the mechanicals.

  • The steering wheel is slightly crooked and would need a four-wheel alignment.

  • The parking sensors do not work and it reports an error when reverse gear is engaged.

  • It warns that the coolant is low even though there is enough fluid, and the car does not overheat.

  • Failed inspection, see defect list. Re-inspection by 15/09 and driving valid until 15/10.

  • The sill boxes/rocker panels need welding/repair on both sides.

  • The chassis needs some parts replaced for inspection; fortunately the parts only cost a few tens of euros.

  • The front right tyre should be replaced, as the inner edge is worn due to play in the chassis and the four-wheel alignment has not been right.

  • The oil sump could be cleaned; according to the inspector there was no oil leak, but it has leaked at some point and the oil was left there uncleaned.

  • According to the inspector there is a small coolant leak from somewhere; no leak point was found, but coolant residue was found and should be cleaned.
