For sale: Toyota Avensis for repair.

Used as a family car.

The latest inspection was completed successfully in 8/2023, after which the car was not used and has been standing in a garage.

Driven into the garage while dry.

In summer 2025 it was to be put back into use, but the battery had discharged while standing. A new battery was installed, the car started and was driven about 20 km to recharge the battery. The engine warning light was still on, so the car was left standing again for 8 months.

Now in summer 2026 it was again attempted to put into use and take for repair, but something has drained the battery again. It will not start even with jump leads. I don't have the energy to keep trying myself - sold for repair.

The car is not in road use, and the periodic inspection has not been carried out.

The vehicle is therefore under driving/road ban.

No outstanding road tax.

Must be towed away from the yard. The buyer tows the car at their own expense.

Not every feature of the car has been tested with certainty.

Only the driver's door opens with the key.

The electric doors, i.e. the other doors and the boot, do not open because the car will not start anyway.

The boot does not open with the key either; I don't know why and don't have the energy to keep trying. As far as I remember, the boot used to work normally before.

The mileage may be off by 2-5 km. The kilometres have been calculated as accurately as possible to be close to reality, but there may be a discrepancy of two to five kilometres.

Sold as-is for repair.

With a little work, it could still serve as a spare car, or become a working vehicle for an enthusiast.
