Volkswagen Golf 2008 – good repairs done, driveable and reliable daily car

For sale is a Volkswagen Golf 2008 that has served me reliably in daily use. The car has been driven regularly, and it has worked well both in city traffic and on longer journeys. I am now moving on to a newer car, so I am happy to pass this one on.

Repairs and maintenance carried out recently:

• Water pump replaced (new)

• Floor pan welded (condition checked)

• Muffler welding done

• Ignition lock replaced

• Brakes serviced / new brake pads

• New battery installed

• Starter motor replaced

Significant work has therefore been invested in the car recently, and it is in good technical condition. The new owner can get going without any immediate maintenance needs.

Advantages:

• Reliable and economical daily car

• Work done on the mechanicals (new battery, starter, water pump)

• Welding work carried out properly

• Easy and inexpensive to maintain

Condition and possible remarks:The car is in quite good condition for its age, but I will also honestly mention the things I have noticed:

• The exterior shows normal wear for its age (read: scratches and minor rust)

• The interior is tidy, but not like new – normal signs of use

• The car has not been smoked in, and no pets have been transported.

Tax information:
The annual vehicle tax is about €220/year.

This Volkswagen Golf is a good and honest option for everyday driving or even as a first car. The biggest and most expensive servicing has been done, so the new owner avoids surprises. I recommend a test drive and your own inspection on site – that is the best way to see whether the car meets expectations.
