Terms of sale

The property has been seized and will be sold by private sale conducted by the enforcement officer in accordance with Chapter 5, Section 76 of the Enforcement Code and the general auction terms laid down in the Enforcement Code. The enforcement officer may accept or reject the highest bid made at the auction. Further details are set out in the sales brochure.

Bids are made on the purchase price payable to the Enforcement Authority. Any other obligations that may be transferred to the buyer can be found in the section of the sales brochure on obligations and rights transferred to the buyer.

Bids are binding. If a bid made is accepted, the bidder is obliged to pay the purchase price offered. Failure to pay the offered purchase price may result in the buyer's liability for damages under Chapter 5, Section 25 of the Enforcement Code.
