Just inspected (07/2026) and extensively serviced 2011 facelift model (reg. 09/2010).

Finnish car, Avantgarde trim. Used daily for Helsinki–Lahti commuting.

Approx. €2,500 worth of servicing and repairs carried out for the 07/2026 inspection

- Shock absorbers to the front

- Front lower control arms to the front

- Boost pipe replaced

- Lambda sensor replaced

- Engine oil + filter

- Air filter

- Cabin air filter

- Fuel filter

- Rear axle oil checked (no topping up needed)

Other significant servicing over the past two years

- Intercooler replaced

- Starter motor replaced

- Rear subframe replaced (by the importer)

- Front lower control arms (rear bushes), springs, dust covers and top mounts replaced

- Headlight levelling arm

- Parking brake shoes + bearing kit to the rear

- Brake fluid changed

- Air conditioning serviced

- Fuel filter housing replaced

- Two good sets of tyres on alloy wheels, the other set original Mercedes wheels.

Condition

Interior: exceptionally tidy for its age.

Body: minor scratches, dent in the rear passenger-side door.

Rust: slight; starting at the edge of the bonnet, a few spots elsewhere.

Technical condition and drivability

- 6-speed manual, known for its durability

- Power is there, overtaking is no problem

- Fuel consumption on long trips approx. 5 l/100 km

- Starts normally, no fault codes

- Idle is smooth

Known faults and notes

-Inspection noted slight sweating from the rear axle oil. Oil levels checked after the inspection, no topping up needed.

-Occasionally a slight shudder at low revs/speeds with light throttle. The symptom has been present for a long time, did not affect the inspection and has not hindered daily driving.

-No fault codes

-The symptom goes away when the accelerator is pressed a little more

Summary

The car has been used for daily commuting and a lot of expensive servicing has already been done. Technically a good basic car, and I have confidently used it for longer trips. Now being replaced because I need a van for a construction project.
