Defects and other observations

During the test drive we made the following observations:


The car requires an engine replacement. Kp-Auto Pori workshop has stated that there is a crack between the engine block and the turbocharger, observed after the turbo was removed. See photos.


Workshop comment: "A crack was found in the block under the turbocharger on the Transporter. Attached are photos before and after cleaning (the last photos in the listing). A really poor case altogether. In short, the car would need a block or a replacement engine.".


The car is currently at Kp-Auto with the engine bay dismantled, from where the auction winner can collect it, provided the reserve price is met.


The car has not been subjected to a technical condition inspection by us, and the functionality of all equipment has not been tested. The car may have hidden faults that we did not notice during the test drive and inspection. However, we disclose all known information about the car. It is possible to come and test drive the car and inspect it more closely on site.
