For sale: Renault Megane, model year 2000. Odometer shows only 213,000 km! The car is in tidy condition for its age, with some signs of wear and tear, of course.


I bought the car yesterday from K-Auto and drove it about 25 km home. The car drove well, it pulls strongly and the engine seems to be working properly all round. Idle is steady, and the engine does not make any unusual noises.


### Please note

  • The bushings in the gear selector are worn, which means the selector has play and the gear lever feels a bit loose. It is not a difficult job, and there are videos on YouTube showing how to do it. However, I am not interested in repairing it myself.

  • There is also a fault with the central locking:

  • The driver's door lock works.

  • The left rear door opens sometimes.

  • The locks on the other doors do not currently open.

  • I have not even checked the fuses or any other possible minor fault.


K-Auto said that the service book has been lost during the car's life.
